Bourbon Kansas County – Insect bite or sting can cause serious problems.


This is what happened to a farmer who was initially declared dead due to a tick bite.


However, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the farmer did not died on the tick bite but with the new virus that the tick was carrying when it bit him.


Based on the recent findings of Dr. Dana Hawkinson, an infectious disease expert from the University of Kansas Hospital, the unknown virus’ genome is similar to those found in other countries like Europe, Africa and Asia. Moreover, she said that the said virus is resistant to anti-biotics and symptoms include fever, anorexia, and muscle pains.
