Li-Fi: 100 times faster than Wi-Fi

Too tired of slow internet connection?

Either dial-up, DSL, cable, Wi-Fi, satellite or cellular connection? Well, here’s the next big thing in the internet world, the future of connection – the LI-FI.

Light Fidelity or Li-fi for short is said to be faster by 100 times than Wi-Fi since it uses light instead of the usual radio waves.

Data transfer speed for Li-Fi is about 1 Gbps and works in high density environment. Since light cannot pass through solid walls or partitions, neighbors cannot snip in your connection giving you a more secure and faster data transfers.

The only downside is, if the Li-Fi light is blocked, then the connection is lost.
