OMG! Yaya Dub’s Twitter Account Hacked by Anonymous Philippines!

The twitter account of the fastest rising noontime celebrity of Eat Bulaga’s Kalye Serye has not been spared by internet hackers! 

On November 3, 2015, both online and print news spread about Maine Mendoza’s twitter account being hacked by someone or a group who claimed to be “Anonymous Philippines” 

Anonymous Philippines posted various tweets using Yaya Dub’s account. 

 The tweets contained invitation to its “Million Mask March.” 

 The hacker, aware of the negative reaction from Yaya Dub’s fans, also posted a message saying sorry that they dropped by at the account of Yaya Dub and that the account will soon be returned to its proper owner. 

 They even used the term “nagmamahal, Anonymous Philippines” or “Love, Anonymous Philippines.” 

Maine’s account was not the only one that the Anonymous Philippines have hacked. 

 Among the various accounts hacked are The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region III, Smokefree Philippines of the Department of Health (DOH), Pilipinas Anti-Piracy Team (PAPT), American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (Amcham) and Institute for Development and Ecometric Analysis (IDEA).
